What, they didn't have stuff like this in the seventies, okay? All you can see is a sliver of a young, perplexed face, and a backdrop of fuzzy ceiling. After a moment he gets bored trying to figure out how to make this thingie work and drops it on the table, the picture settling into an unfocused panorama of the apartment he shares with Sylar. The kid wanders off. After a moment, from a distance, you can hear him calling out.]

[He turns on the video accidentally, careless in his distraction. The feed doesn't last long and is difficult to make out, a jumble of apparently unrelated images-- a fragment of his face, lips firmly set in a frown; a flash of a speckled white ceiling, and an incongruous expanse of... colored feathers. And that's it, because he manages to get it on the voice setting. He clears his throat, tone strained when he does speak.]
