Last month was certainly interesting, to the extent that I can remember it. I guess it figures, as soon as you get used to the way things work, they have to change. The slugs were a little too long-lasting to count as a curse, right?

Out of curiosity, does anyone remember what they were doing up on the mountain?

I don't think it was a curse. It was bad, whatever it was.

You had a brain slug?

That's good to hear. Getting your brain taken over by slugs is bad enough without skull fractures.

Yep, it's all good here. Crazy month, though. Here's hoping August'll be quieter.

The Network indicates that they were digging up a starship.

I do not know. I've had technical difficulties... I have not kept track as of late. Likely as not it simply disappeared, like the other curses.

Haven't there been curses that have lasted that long? Rare ones, but they seem to exist. For example, I believe the snow in summer curse was more than one day.

I couldn't say. I wasn't paying that close attention.

Yes, they apparently wanted to unearth a starship. And no, it wasn't a curse.

What can you remember of the whole thing?

I think it's still there, but I'm not exactly going back to check.

Presuming you don't get those memories back later, I think you got off pretty lucky. I'm wishing I didn't remember the whole thing. Are you feeling back to normal again?

I'm perfectly fine, aside from the memory of a very unpleasant five days. Nothing's injured, nothing's sore- the benefits of regeneration.

As long as most everyone's recovered, we can forget about it, just like we did with the zombies.

Were you among the... victims?
