Last month was certainly interesting, to the extent that I can remember it. I guess it figures, as soon as you get used to the way things work, they have to change. The slugs were a little too long-lasting to count as a curse, right?

Out of curiosity, does anyone remember what they were doing up on the mountain?

Haven't there been curses that have lasted that long? Rare ones, but they seem to exist. For example, I believe the snow in summer curse was more than one day.

I have my doubts that a race of slug-aliens managed to find us in this interdimensional location. The odds of a jumpspace accident bringing a ship outside its own universe is 1x10^-23%. Effectively zero.

Unless there is more than just the City in this pocket dimension.

If so, then their starship may have been moved. Perhaps it is still on the mountain somewhere. Alternatively, just as they were brought in, they were killed -- and oddly enough, they don't appear to have come back as a usual citizen would. So without them, their starship may be useless, and the overlords here could have simply gotten rid of it.

Have you asked them? I doubt they will give you a reasonable answer, but you can try.

We know nothing about many aspects of the City. It is an infuriating aspect of this place.
