This has been a welcome change... more often than not the City sees fit to off us, not bring us back to life. Not that it makes a big difference here, really.

I do appreciate the irony, though. Easter and all.

For the past year, if I stopped breathing, I'd just... stop breathing. I don't, normally, because it's kind of unsettling, but I don't really need to. And I've got a heartbeat, which is something you don't really notice until you lose it.

I'd rather not go back to normal, but I'm used to it by now. So I'm not really concerned.

But other than the heartbeat, did you really find it that different? What is it that makes having a stopped heart so different, in an of itself?

Yes, I suppose you've been dealing with it for some time now. At least you get a day off.

I'm warmer to the touch, which I guess affects others more than me. And... you can feel your heartbeat, your pulse, most of the time... without really trying, even. I'm aware that it's not there, though like I said... I'm accustomed to it. And I haven't been really hungry in ages, either. At first you want to eat out of habit, mistake that for hunger, but it isn't really the same... Hard to explain if you haven't experienced it, though.

I guess so. That makes sense. That must feel weird, being hungry after so long.
